Responding Biblically to Poverty, Corruption, and Injustice

Somewhere deep in your heart there is a dream of the way things ought to be. You’ve felt it. It stirs in you when you see images of brokenness in your city or on the news; your heart cries out that life is not supposed to be like this. And you're right. Jesus intends to answer the prayer “Your kingdom come . . . on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). He intends to answer it in and through us. Are you up for that? If so, take a deep dive into the scriptures, from Old Testament to New, and learn about God's heart for the marginalized and how that should guide our actions towards a biblical response to the issues of poverty, corruption, and injustice.
